Presentation formats

You can find a guideline for the conference presentation formats here.

Deadlines for materials

Audio visual equipment

A copy of your presentation is not required prior to the conference. Please bring your presentation with you on a portable device stick (preferably two as a back-up) or on a laptop to be shared with the AV technicians onsite. There will be a speaker prep area for you to provide your files.

Audio visual requirements

Standard set up for presentations in all conference rooms includes data projector, screen, remote pointer, lectern and microphone (lectern, lapel or handheld microphone) along with a data fold back monitor for you to use at the lectern. It is imperative that we have your audio visual preferences prior to conference.

If you have videos embedded into PowerPoint, please ensure you save the video files separately onto a USB stick so that there are no issues with linking these files at conference. We will be using wide screens at the conference venue, so if you are using PowerPoint please ensure that your presentation is set to a ratio of 16:9. Should you need advice on converting a presentation then please let us know.

Foldback monitors will be available on the ground in front of the lectern to provide a view of your presentation. If you want to view your notes, then we would recommend having these printed.

Presentations on the conference website

All presentations will be converted to pdf and loaded onto the conference website after the conference. It is the responsibility of presenters to advise the conference secretariat if they don’t wish this to happen.

Presenter registration

There are no discounts for presenters (other than invited presenters who receive complimentary registration).

Please reach out to stacey@hardingconferences.co.nz for your personalised link to register.

My highlight was being able to connect with a group of people who are all aligned in a shared goal to improve New Zealand’s transport system.
